Could older Atlas type forks be upgraded to disc forks by just changing the lower legs to late Commando legs?

Thanks

I heartily agree with Bernard
Remember your fork legs fender mounts studs no longer will be CEI for the fender bracket, now 1/4-20 and the stay holes if early commando disc legs are also UNC :) as they are commando

Thanks Bernhard, anyone else have any knowledge about this?
The sliders of Commando disc and Atlas are not the same.
Not inportant that they are oval or rounded or have not the same axle spacers, but because they have different lenght of the axle lugs.
So that you can update Atlas with both Commando sliders disc but if you want use one Commando and one Atlas sliders you must machined slider or user spacers for axle.
Ciao.
Piero
