Fork gaiters that last?

Last set on Trixie Combat lasted about 3 yrs, two of those inside
of shed and now see they have spit apart w/o even working them.

I know this is a know issue this decade, but don't remember if
a particular vendor has more robust gaiters.
I've heard some use car shock covers, but know not what to order.

Hobot, mine, from Old Britts, were dirt cheap and after a couple years still look brand new. FWIW - YMMV.

Ok thanks, I've got an account with them, will ping em for a
lasting refill. Of course must now face up to un doing the
head light and forks for a presentable Commando.
