Fork gaiter dumb question

Hello,
Can somebody measure the OD of installed gaiters (top and bottom, please). I'm looking at some non-standard
clamps and I need to know the sizes to order. If this works like I think it will I will definetly post the info here.

Hi,

Are you talking about the bellows type (non standard) for '71 onward Commandos? I used these on my '73 750 in the early 80's. The lower part is lipped and fits around the fork seal holder - doesn't need a clamp. The upper, I used a black tie wrap...works good.

Same here. The black tie wraps not only work well but aren't readily visible unless you look carefully - whereupon, they appear just fine.

So the answer seems to be no on getting the measurements. No problem as the bike is only 588 miles away,
I'll just pop over there and get them myself.
