Len Perry was the H.R.D. VINCENT agent in New Zealand .
On a trip to england He visited the factory , and confered
with Phils Vincent & Irvine , whom invented the Cam Shafts ,
and had them made .
Then their best man built the heads - illustrated above .
He spent a day with amal , where their best man selected the components and assembled the carburators .
Then the same to Lucas , ( or was it K L G ) ditto , slected componentry , built to purpose Magneto .
A suitcase of appropriate size had been brought from N. Z. to carry them on his return .
Thereafter , He spent eveniings ( 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. ) building the engine , from the ground up .
thats Two weeks , 80 hours . More like 100 . or those of you unfamiliar with mathematics .

Found the magazineinteview from that time with Wright ' Stateing that it was " Standard , I tuned it myself "
Now Id heard that before somewhere , Len was 72 when I was ' at the shop ' , tales from the lunchroom ' .
Will post the Wright interview ( from a N Z site ) I found saturday . If I Ever See It again . š¬
