Trying to get hold of the brass ferrules that clamp the oil feed/return hoses to the junction block and oil tank outlet/return. Anyone know the sizes and availability please, thanks David

What outside diameter are your hoses. Best to get the tightest ferrule that will fit over the hose. In my opinion, stainless ferrules are better in many ways. Brass ferrules tend to crimp unevenly because of the softness of the metal - and they are very thin. Sizes vary depending on manufacturer, and they tend to be sized to suit the common pvc air hoses. They are normally sized by the ID and OD of the ferrule. Say 18.5x19.5 (in mm). Let me know your hose sizes and I will try to point you in the right direction. I used to be in the hose business and hopefully my aging grey matter can still remember some of the suppliers!

David,
I measured one I removed the junction block on my 1970 750 and it has an ID of .380"/9.65mm and an OD of .495"/12.57mm. Should be easy enough to make, get a 1/2"/13mm brass hose barb and bore the inside then solder it to the junction block tube. Or you could check with Andover Norton and see if they could provide one.

Or do you mean O-clips like those made by Oetiker?

Those Oetiker clamps are what have become popular for oxy/acety hoses. Through the years leaks, etc. causing hazards as hoses were pulled through internal compartments jackets, rigs, shipyards brought demand for improvements over ferrules ..... Anyway I've been into a number of them where Safety forced the conversion to their use. They have a surefire grip when installed with the proper tool. Although not the most attractive they don't come off.
