Sledders and skiers will be pleased. Although these big dumps are tough on the wildlife

Always kinda have a dose of snow envy when I see photographs of deep and persistant snowfall 🥺

Snow where I live is usually like icing sugar sprinkled onto a Victoria sponge and thats if we even have any at all !

" Stahmageddon " .......... I saw this and initially thought it was about the UK Prime Minister Lol ! .... ( definitely not a political comment )

"I wish I had gotten a piece of outdoor power equipment with a smaller engine..."

Said no one ever. 🤣
Concours, I can see the Snow King sticker on the motor, so I know it's a Tecumseh. I have a Troy built and a MTD with Tecumseh's and they have the same sticker on the motor. Couple questions.. How wide is the cut? Who's the manufacturer? And what are those 2 handles on the front? Never seen them before. My MTD has an 8hp motor, just like Al's Seeley, and that's plenty enough for around here. I'm glad it doesn't have front drum brakes!

It's a 23yo Simplicity.
11hp Tecumseh
32" cut
Those flatbars on the front are called "drift cutters"
Has a "torque shift pulley" on the engine, changes ratio under heavy load.
Sturdy formed channel handlebars
But, most importantly the HANDLEBAR HEIGHT was made for a FULL GROWN MAN.
All the others were small ergonomics that my back said: "NFW will I walk behind it crouching"

Fast & powerful.

Simplicity was a holdout to the MTD (and cheesy quality) scoop up.
Turns out Briggs & Stratton has since bought them, and implemented the expected cost (quality) reduction.

Here is my setup:

Several years ago, I saw on eBay, a guy in CO took an early 80's shoebox K25 Chev, mounted a big snowblower on the front driven by a 454 Chev mounted in the bed of the truck. It was used for an estate with a long, steep access road.
I searched today, couldn't find a picture.
