Thanks ! will get in contact with them , Cheers!Norton Motorcycles are shipping parts again .
You are a master ! And please do, any info would be helpful!Ohlins forks are 961 specific, fgrt 816_2....just dont expect any change from £2500 though. Wheel, try Central Wheels. Discs, iirc were the same as Duc 748/916 and Brembo...but ebc look cooler. Front mudguard is a doddle, its a copy of a Triumph 675 carbon mudguard....but used Nortons own steel brackets.
Thank you ! kicks ass in the Empty Quarter, these things keep going!Dune, you are a brave man!
Nice Defender BTW...
As its an early bike, where there appears to be a few reported cases of bottom yokes failing.... you may be much better off just putting a complete front end in from another bike, in my opinon. You could then get a wire spoked wheel made to suit...again, someone like Central Wheels (as they supplied Norton). You are a master ! And please do, any info would be helpful!
Yeah, I'll look out for an aftermarket exhaust, and was thinking rather than getting spoke wheels, Why not upgrade both to Carbon Wheels.Do you have a plan for this project yet?
IMHO re holding back to stock doesn’t make good sense, it’ll be a very expensive way of ending up with a stock bike!
Better to take the opportunity to give your imagination a canvass...

Come to think of it, What would stop me from buying a Street triple front end. forks, brakes etc etc.. i'll be done with one part of the build, and would be upgraded rather than the RSU stockers. right?Do you have a plan for this project yet?

Ah, a Triton !? That’d work. Some work required sourcing and fitting CF wheels, and getting yokes made etc I guess, but nothing too onerous.Come to think of it, What would stop me from buying a Street triple front end. forks, brakes etc etc.. i'll be done with one part of the build, and would be upgraded rather than the RSU stockers. right?
I've seen that setup on a bike. was it the American made one, Confederate or something?Ah, a Triton !? That’d work. Some work required sourcing and fitting CF wheels, and getting yokes made etc I guess, but nothing too onerous.
Or you could do something interesting (I do seem to find that it is far easier being adventurous, and ignoring the costs, when it’s someone else’s project)

When one thinks of Girder frontends the mind immediately wanders to the hundreds of janky chopper forks that litter our nation's motorcycle swap meets. Most ofvtwinvisionary.com
