feked.com

Check carefully the details and applicability with them, for some products ?
When they offer mufflers for manx nortons (!!), and refuse to correct this, some things are obviously not what they advertise... ?

Never bought from them but the website gives the impression they are Virtual, ie they do not stock all they list but order it in as they receive orders. I would expect lower prices based on that, that together with incorrect applicability eg the same spoke set for 7" TLS in an 18" rim as a 8" TLS in a 19" rim put me off.

Hello, and greetings to all on this topic.

I own Feked.com, and I can assure you we carry a lot of stock, we have 5000 square feet, it's not really possible to have everything in stock, however we do stock a large amount of our 3500 items listed.

I do not profess to be an expert on Norton's, but I've had one or two over the years, mainly Commandos.

We make exhaust pipes and silencers, and a few other parts, and where possible I try to sell parts that are made in England.

Please feel free to email or phone with any queries you have, we do try and provide an excellent customer service.

Thanks
Gordon

Any unfavorable issues with feked.com?
Fritz
I've bought spokes, brake shoes and wheel bearings. Gordon was really helpful when I run into problems with the front wheel spokes (I didn't know that spokes and nipples on the brake side are different to the ones on the opposite side  ). Only the shipment has to be criticised, OCS they chosen as the carrier are far away from good. It took about ten days until the parcel has arrived here in Switzerland :( But overall AA+. :D

Any shipment that arrives, and intact, is a good shipment !!?

The Post Office used to advise that some surface destinations can be 90 days
( do they still do post by ships these days ?), and I'm sure they stashed them away for delivery on the 90th day.
That, or the ship circumnavigated the globe along the way.

About those 'Manx' mufflers, Gordon ?

Hi all, I ordered a pair of mufflers & pipes for my '57 Norton model 77 from Feked, I ordered a set for a model 7 & cut the length down so I could get the correct shape and I could not believe how thick the metal was! Best pipes I ever bought period !!!!! The chrome is holding up very well & the mufflers & clamps all fir well with no issues. I would recommend them highly !!!!! They answered all the questions that I asked & even sent a survey after the sale to be sure I was happy with the products, when was the last time you bought something & the vendor checked on you later, after they had your money, to see how everything was? And just when I thought it couldn't get any better , they had the best price!!! I live in the USA & bought the pipes, mufflers, clamps, overseas shipping, a 60 percent difference between the US dollar & the English pound & I still saved money buying from Feked instead of buying here in the States!!!
THANK YOU FEKED !!!!!!

You're right.

The Post Office used to advise that some surface destinations can be 90 days
But usually it takes not more than a week. The Royal Mail is seldom slower than the couriers are. :D And even from USA it seldom takes more than a week. :D

Plerhaps we should mention this here if you happen to be looking for a pair of mufflers for a Norton Model 7 (earliest dommie twin).

http://www.feked.com/norton-exhaust-sil ... 49-54.html

Armours, for some odd reason have been selling Matchless mufflers as being for a twin Norton - all that you could buy for them, for decades. Nothing like the Norton originals - a vague resemblance maybe . Now it seems that Feked have followed suit. Oh, and these would only cover 1949-52 too - after that they were the pear-shaped ones.

You see so many 'restored' bikes with these fitted.
Sigh...
