anything special about the light switch that it's $86 on old britts compared to a $5 toggle at the auto part store?

Well duh Yes, one is really Norton while the other ain't!
$86, ugh, I gave one away - because I broke Wesly's on an Oak tree this summer but thought I'd be able to get another for a few bucks- ugh, still lots to learn on Commando for me. I'll just steal Ms Peel's who's not really a Norton no more and give it to Trixie who is nothing but Norton to the core. Well expect for minimal wiring delight.

I shopped and shopped a few years, before finally committing to the Thunderheart micro harness, then see this neat-O German unit with lots of lights and labels and terminals plus adjustable features that tempts me no end now, ugh. If only I was a girl with just make up and clothes to worry how it looked. Ugh.

Got one in the mail today! Manual says the alarm mode can work with the centerstand too. The whole thing is encased in epoxy except the wire inputs. No idea on how I'm going to wire all this stuff up. :|

Dang that m unit looks the part and size for our bikes. My microharness is bigger thicker and not so interesting to look at so more trouble to mount somewhere unnoticed. Still not sure I want the old school spider web vs the new age bus line and plug socket, that is about half as big as the whole m unit. I've seen some big twin guys super glue of hot glue their wire runs to stick to tubes and under stuff w/o other fasteners for hidden clean look. Tedious to get em to lay so flat but its neat to inspect up close, like us owners are wont to do a lot you know.

Its mild out tonight may make another move on my Trixie, like head light total rebuild with faux functional amp meter.
