Ever had frozen nuts

Up here in Canada, a.k.a. the Great White North, frozen nuts are quite common. As a matter of fact, my nuts got a little frozen last night clearing snow out of the driveway. :mrgreen:

Mostly my nose and my toes as plenty blood flow to my bell clappers. Skinny dipping in chilly spring water just goes numb and retracted like Sameri. Inductive heating coil and power supply are too much investment clutter for me as often as I encounter frozen fasteners - if pure heat don't do it I have ended up torching em off or welding a rod on then wait for the glow to spread to surrounds then back right out.
 
Kroil is great, I also like PB Blaster, Liquid Wrench, WD40 and heat. I use a combination of them. Depends on what is handy. I like filling a plastic bag with kroil or blaster and submerging items for long periods of time. Usually works well.
 
Another good one is candle wax. Just heat it to maybe 150 - 200 * and then touch a candle too it, as the rusted nut/bolt cools, sweet lubricating wax is sucked down into the threads.
 
PB Blaster is the best invention ever...or a torch...or the wax trick...when all else fails cut the sucker off. :D

High energy magnetic fields can cause sterility.

I was working in minus 36 weather last week, wasn't just my nuts that were frozen!
