EV drawbacks

Is this a touch of sanity creeping in for just a moment…🤔...This article is all in reality about wealth transfer...
Nor any mention of the worlds largest polluter Chyna….that creates real pollution…Nox, heavy metals, So2, heavy particulate...while the rest of us run around like "blue arsed flies" 🙃..

Perspective
New Zealand's gross emissions contributed approximately 0.17 per cent of the world's gross emissions.15/04/2021

Chyna released 11.47 billion metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions in 2021, making it by far the world's largest polluter that year.(Among other things)

(Sulfur dioxide (SO2) affects the respiratory system, particularly lung function, and can irritate the eyes. Sulfur dioxide irritates the respiratory tract and increases the risk of tract infections. It causes coughing, mucus secretion and aggravates conditions such as asthma and chronic bronchitis)

(Elevated levels of nitrogen dioxide NOx can cause damage to the human respiratory tract and increase a person's vulnerability to... and the severity of...respiratory infections and asthma. Long-term exposure to high levels of nitrogen dioxide can cause chronic lung disease)

‘Nuclear Diesel’ Could Become A Gamechanger In Energy Markets

Back in February, a proposal by the EU to completely ban cars that run on fossil fuels by 2035 faced heavy opposition led by the bloc’s largest economy, Germany, as well as Poland and Italy.

The EU still managed to approve the proposal, but with a key concession... the sale of internal combustion vehicles would be allowed to continue after the 2035 ban only if they run on e-fuels.

e-fuels are estimated to cost double normal fuel, so its going to be a rich boys toy fuel. Unless if like in the UK where the tax on fuel is so high they can drop some of the tax to compensate, like hell they will ;) .

Come on... isn't this where someone jumps in and says 'the science' 'development' 'consumer demand' etc. etc... WILL drive prices down????

On this one, I for one hope so. Maybe those manufacturers making ICE vehicles might get on board too..

Its currently 10 times the price, its predicted on volume increases to drop to 2 times. So that conversation has already taken place ;) .

It basic physics that every time you move or change energy there are losses. All the rest is Unicorn farts.

I saw a black cat and another one just like it. Just another glitch in the Matrix.
A old friend of mine years ago imported a 20"container of solar panels and thought he had cracked it...unfortunately within 12 months he got a barrage of complaints because our UV light from the sun here started to destroy them ...as the clear cappinh panels went milky looking and really brittle...

The Guardian 🙃 doubling down on this even more... of this intermittent resource is irresponsible. Solar inoperable 73% of the time in Texas.
Zero value after 5:30 and before 8:30 AM. And overlaps substantially with the time wind is there. Zero energy value in the even more dangerous winter morning peaks from six to nine AM...I see brown/black outs very soon...any new company moving to Texas... operating CNC equipment and the like.. will need to have their own power generating plants

I just read where a VW electric research vehicle exploded in Italy while being driven, killing the driver and severely injuring a passenger.

Here at home Ford is facing cancelations of orders for the F150 Lightening. The price has risen from $40K to $60K, the Ford EV Division is running $3Billion in the red.

Slick

Must have been from Chyna??? Check out to see their version of EV's going up in flames. If you see them park next to you.... I would move your vehicle.

Your right thats exactly where the panels were from (he got stuck with another 20" container of crap)..look at the Ford Pinto's reputation...(27 official passenger deaths)..so they say.... as a direct result from a rear end collision/ fire...to me these Evs are just ticking time bombs.. (44 official passenger deaths) Tesla brand only....ive seen enough damage myself from just lithium type contractor tool batteries causing damage/fires...
