Can anyone please tell me what battery and if encased, does an ES2 or model 50 take,

Hi Bernhard, it has been converted to 12v so I'm looking to keep the battery inside the rubber case if possible, cheers, David

Presumably magneto ignition if you have a black box to put the battery in, battery capacity is not that critical in that case?
Al Osborn (NOC UK elec whiz) recommends 5AH as minimum size, which is about all i could find which would fit in a black box.

Awkward! Your only recourse if you do not want to use a black battery as here is to find a small 12 v battery to fit inside the case.
