There was a post not too long ago in which the OP inquired about an engine stand. A few days ago I got a flyer from British Cycle Supply with the following choices:
221-10/A ENGINE STAND, UNIT 650/750 TRIUMPH
221-10/B ENGINE STAND, UNIT 350/500 TRIUMPH
221-10/C ENGINE STAND, A50/65 BSA
221-10/D ENGINE STAND, UNIT SINGLES TRIUMPH/BSA
221-10/E ENGINE STAND, NORTON TWINS
221-10/F ENGINE STAND, BSA A7/10
These stands are designed to mount in a vice, but could easily be drilled and attached to a bench top or other suitably stable platform.
