The '68 - '70 speedometer was 150 MPH type 'SSM 3001/02 1000' and should be the same instrument shown in both photos.

The '68 - ? tachometer is type 'RSM 3003/10', this instrument has no red zone (the "orange spot"?)

The '69 - '70 tachometer is type 'RSM 3003/12' and this has the 7,000+ RPM red zone.

Thanks Les,
...red zone yes! ... :)
I mean...I would like to know if the two tachometer were fitted to all models or each one on a specific model
I found the one with the red zone on roadsters and the one without on S and Fastback, were standard on those models or is just my assumpition?

I don't know. All I can say is the changeover to the /12 tacho appears to have occurred sometime during 1969, but whether it was immediately fitted to all Commando models currently in production at that time (Fastback, then 'R' and 'S' Types) I couldn't say, however all models seem to have the /12 tacho by 1970.

The Roadster model wasn't introduced until 1970, so I would expect the '70 Roadsters to have the /12 tacho.

My S has the red line, that's #132031Apr 69 if it's any help.
