Coco...indeed of interest...inform me if you decide to do this...not that I would understand why, as they are rather seldom, you must surely know.

I simply like the look of the Pea Shooter type exaust better than the Dunstall. That's all. Mine are original Dunstall stamped and in really darn good shape, save for a speck of rust here and there.

Hewho, when it comes time to rip them off and put the Pea Shooters on, I'll get a hold of you. I'm thinking late summer/early fall as I won't get the new exaust until I put the bike away for next winter. Not sure if you can wait that long, but their yours if you want them.

Thanks for the links....the first one sort of looks like the original, the others are not at all the same in appearance. I do not want something that is much, if any louder than the peashooters, as I must get through the vehicle inspection with these, and I'm not at all sure the Dunstalls will come through, it is sort of a Russian Roullet as to whether the fellow will accept anything that is not standard for the bike. I have my heart set on "trying" to get a pair of Dunstalls through the inspection, and on the paperwork for the bike, but there is absolutely NO guarentee that I will ever be able to actually do this and drive with anything other than the peashooters, and they are on the border of what is allowed, decibel wise, as is. We all know Harleys are louder , but they still seem to somehow come better through the inspection, than some bike the fellow doesn't know anything about , and isn't lusting after having one for himself. If the fellow wants one too...he will naturally close an eye here and there for the guy with a Harley. My bike isn't the wetdream of every "wanna be" bad biker, so it will be more carefully looked at, and faster rejected. So I have to watch more what I do and what I change on it...not to mention how I drive it...

Facts of life.

I will get back soon to you on this exhaust project, as I have some new info for you all, if of interest...but I have to get something done today besides sitting on the computer.....so ...later!!!

FYI: I've been told by many that the Dunstall's are in fact quieter than the pea shooter.

Hewho,

You should find the Dunstalls (or replicas) to be quieter than peashooters.
