I have purchased 2 sets of Dunstall cylinders, one set has flat feet cam followers, the other set is radiused.
no doubt for different cams, I assume the flat ones would be used with standard or similar cams and the other ,maybe for some Dunstall cams, would this be correct?

Generally the Radiused Followers were for radical Square Cams , as they slow the timing a little & accept radical lift rate
grinds . Olde Perry Ground the Triump Followers FLAT in a 50s Speedway outfit to get radical timing ,rather than radiused .

Dunstall Cam Drivle Link ; dunstall-camshaft-t12398.html A few specs in that lot somewhere .

ok. looks like I'll be sticking with the flat lifters.
one set of cylinders are perfect , the other set has been butchered beyond belief, MUCH later, like next year I'll look at using the butchered set for casting mold and the good set for taking all the measurements for machining,
before anyone says "but there are already people making alloy cylinders" dont bother telling me.
Yes, I'm thinking of making these, probably with 73mm bore giving the owner the option of boring them to 76mm (810)
but thats a few projects and products away, probably next year.

Hey Madass, I'm intersted in buying the radioused lifters if you want to sell or swap em. PM sent.
