    hi, has anyone here offered up a new type t120/t100 motor to an early 70's t120 frame (oif or pre oif) .. i have my reasons (& a cunning plan)
     
    Looked at it a long time ago for a Triton. I recall them being quite a lot bigger and a rather different shape.

    Keep us posted on your project, certainly sounds interesting…
     
    The biggest issue when fitting a wet sump Japanese engine into a British bike frame is usually the sump width
    I'd expect it to be the same with a modern triumph engine plus the engine drives to the opposite side of the back wheel
    Absolutely anything is doable,it's only metal!!

    want to build a sidecar bike ..... you can buy writeoffs here (aus) for cheap & i have a t150 frame (with sidecar lugs)
