Ducati give blessing for 1978 Hailwood replicas

I'd have thought at £110k each they will struggle to sell any, let alone 12! I looked at one of them in the Isle of Man, nice but just a replica when all said and done.

Amongst our historic car guys in Victoria, there is one in particular who hates replicas because he believes they devalue the originals. I don't think he is right, but how would you tell the genuine Hailwood bike from one of the new replicas ?
