I'm sure people would benefit from a dyno tune. Particularly if they cant get their head around where the problems are.

I like how my bike runs. I'm not afraid of a dyno. I don't want to wind my motor up and make changes for minimal gains that I'm too old to get any use out of. If dyno tuning could make me 25 years younger, I'd be all over it. 25 years ago I had still had some mojo. Not so much anymore. I knew it was time to quit trying to go fast when my eyesight and reaction times made it difficult to find the optimal braking points. I don't like being a back marker. When I say go fast I'm not talking about my Norton. I'm talking about when I had a 996S.
 
Speed is relative! It is more than 10 years since I rode a GSXR750SRAD with 120 rwhp dyno reading. It made my eyeballs rattle around and exited low gear corners on it's back wheel!

GSXR1000s tended to get in the way in corners and pull away on the straights. Familiar story.

Riding a Norton last time out the best fun was swapping places with a Swedish guy on a well prepared 1972 750 Ducati a couple of times a lap....even back markers can have fun

It is a question of judging your skills and potential well. My potential, like yours is not what it was, race/age classes make it more difficult to maintain the potential of the Norton.
