I need to tune the Lectron some more for off boost conditions .
I might overhaul the other one I have with your notes. It gonna take alot, of machining ,$$$ and polishing.
 
was running great today but ran into electrical issues not Droiun related.

Yea , I think youd need a MEGAWATI ignition system , if thast things ' wound up ' .

The CYLINDER PRESSURE is a inverse force to the Electrical Discharge .

Something in alterable as to Igniition Point ( Timing ) and twice the natural force ,
would be a good start .

Actuall , think I posted two verbatim recently . Readable . Apparently Lucas SR II / 2 . G-45 Magneto's throw a TWO INCH spark at 10.000 R. P. M .

the boyer worked fine, I had a battery that failed( I think) Funny thing is it metered voltage just fine and the red light was bright. Then it wasnt. That threw me off, so I changed the ignition, took it for another ride( battery recovered?) and almost got stranded again. When it showed 12v+ it wouldn't light a light bulb.Waitng for a new battery( tomorrow?), but I pulled a battery out of another bike and everything worked fine( non running static test only) update ;it was the battery, shown 12+ volts , battery tender shown full charge,and that threw me off, but no real electrical power

OK I read the coils article,where can I get replacements for the originals that would play with the Boyer?
 
Nice that it all works after installation. Do you have a RH10 head? I'm wondering what diameter the Drouin manifold is, 30mm or 32mm?
Did your exhaust valve covers grow fins when you installed it? :cool:
Regarding the front brake, sure it can be "improved" with m/c diameter change, braided hose and better pads. Repeated hard braking will induce fade and worse. True even with stock Commandos ridden aggressively.

With the super charger hanging off the left side of the bike a new Joe Hunt maggie hanging off the right side be a good pairing and one of the best sparks ever.
