Drouin supercharger installation

An A/F gauge won't help you time the ignition ,Your best way would be to have knock sensor on the head (temporarily, your dyno operator has head phones and can help you dial in the advance curve , electronic ignition easier for add on device for boost /advance.

Or maybe it has a pegged set of weights i:e brazed bits on the advance weights to restrict total advance and heavier springs to slow curve ? Old way . Better to move up to new tech , might be easier on the engine .

From memory [40 years ago] running a Shurock on a Norton Speedway sidecar you retard for supercharging and advance for Methanol {i think]

Super! How do you time the ignition with this setup?
Seems to me what is missing is a close up high res picture with the belt installed but the belt cover off.

I imagine the main drive pulley can be used as a timing reference against the the raised section on the inner casing that will be inside the belt. It even looks in the low res no belt fitted picture as if it might have markings from TDC to around 30 degrees advance?

It would be the logical solution.

Hi, Yes you need to make sure there is a mark on the Drouin pully corresponding exactly to your engines TDC prior to timing . easy to do!

Fast by Gast! Wow! That brings back memories. Is Paul still in business? I remember back in the 1980s, he built some of the fastest Kawaski 2 stroke triples in the USA. I loved visiting his shop on Grand Island [between Buffalo and Niagara Falls].

I remember George Gjonovitch selling those kits. He had a John Player Special with his 940 kit and Nitrous and the supercharger. He told me that the guy riding his Norton dragster, a Marine stationed at El Toro Marine Air Station, had looped it leaving his driveway, but he had also ridden it to Yuma, as I recall, several times to see family. I kind of figured it would run like a bottle rocket, George told me otherwise.
