Dommie Gearbox?

I have recently stripped down a horrible 1960s chopper based on a Matchless Norton engine in a modded Dommie frame.
The frame number is 14 83029 which I think means it is a 1959 Dommie 99 600cc (or at least it was before it was aborted/chopperized).
The gearbox has the number on it of N 16515.
Can anyone tell me if this is also from a 1959 model?
Many thanks in advance for useful info.
Incidentally the chopperized frame, gearbox, primary drive, oil tank/toolbox, brake pedal are for sale.

That transmission probably goes with the engine. N 16515 is likely a '66 gearbox, give or take a year. Norton didn't start matching gearbox and engine numbers til sometime in 1968

Is it a Wideline Featherbed frame, if so what condition is it in any pics??? as I could be intrested in the frame.

Thanks for the info, Bill--much appreciated.
Ashley--the frame is heavily chopperized---the head stock is raked and a hardtail has been welded on after the rear frame and swinging arm were removed.
It is a tragic way to treat a featherbed --but---not much I can do about it.
I bought the chopper as part of a package deal which included two Triumphs (which are my special interest).
The engine was a G15CSR/1*****and this has been sold to a poster on this site from Norway.
BTW--if anyone is interested the gearbox is in excellent condition--good splines on kickstart and gear change shafts.
Also good splines on clutch end of mainshaft. Comes complete with 20T final drive sprocket in good condition.
Kickstart works well and all gears select well. No play in mainshaft bearings.
Any interest then my email address is:
