The reach on the Domi is definitely longer on the Doni clip ons when compared to the high bars on my Commando SP.
The Domi seat is higher and way less cushion.
I actually find the seating on the Domi comfortable. At least on short rides.
The foot position is more rearward on the Domi.
I never weighed either of the two.
If one is lighter than the other, I’d say the Domi is slightly lighter on weight, but minimal.
Steering angles seem the same lock to lock, but with the clip ons it seems like the Domi has more lean in.
Handling of the two feels different to me.
I should really spend the time to adjust the suspension settings. I never really put much time doing so. I will say my Domi feels way more stiff with the Mono shock.
Everything on the Domi feels more racy and raw.
I’m definitely getting older, I think I need to baffle the megaphones. It’s overly loud.
I can only give a comparison in this way.
The Domi after about 30 minutes of city riding, makes my hands numb, my wrist and neck tight, and my adrenaline rush.
And the need for aspirin.
My Commando is more comfortable for longer distances, doesn’t give me the same adrenaline rush, and no body pain
Another thing I need to mention is. The open megaphones compared to the decat, short Motad Commando is.
The Dominator feels more power up in the higher rpm. More lazy down low.
The Commando feels more low end.
Makes sense as the Domi has no exhaust restriction.
If I were to sell one, it would be the Commando.
Wish I had a Cafe Commando with the clip ons to compare the SP Commando to.
I personally don’t care for the Street Domi up right bars and long exhaust.
I think Domis should have a set of clip ons and megaphone style exhaust.
