Took delivery a month ago just as my wife and I were bringing home our new baby. Still have not broken in...only 200 miles but the bike rides so much better than my 961 CR. It pulls harder and crisper than Commando. I guess it's true that the new engine is practically new. I'm looking forward to riding it hard.

Very nice. I note there is no air box drain pipe and some extra cabling running down just in front of the airbox? Be great to see a few more shots from different angles. Are the pipes custom or from the dealer?

I would also be interested in seeing more photos particularly of any mods carried out.

I am also looking forward to hearing from you after you ride it hard . It could be the NEW map they have in your bike . Is it the Norton 2016 Aftermarket Map we have been hearing about ? Now , there may be a Domi version of this map I don't know. I know there is an OMEX and SC version of it . Your bike is brand new so must be OMEX . I have the SC ecu , my bike was delivered DEC 2014. Keep the info coming , Thanks , Tony

Could also be the other way round. That is Omex on the older bikes.
I have an Omex ECU and a 2012 Cafe Racer.

Yes , The older bikes had OMEX . Then they went to SC and I believe back now to OMEX.

Is there some way of telling what you have by looking at the outer cover? :?

The older OMEX had a silver cover I think , ask Raphi. Also , not to worry there is a map for your ECU either way !

I'm pretty sure I'm running with #77. I have yet to experience any issues beyond the rough cold starts. When I reach 500 miles I'll change the oil and swap out the ignition wires and plugs. I hope that improves the start ups.

Hello DallasNorton , Did you apply the exhaust tape yourself ? Is there any advice you may have for others that would like to try it ? All Norton's look good but your looks especially butch !

I JUST told my wife last nite this is the next bike i want and oh yea you likely wont see one in Dallas! I thought RPM was a Norton dealer dont see them listed as a dealer on Norton site.

btw, what part of Dallas could we see this bike in action?

It was applied by SBN.

Matt and his crew from SBN decatted/installed powdercoated pipes. Tuned. It rides so much crisper than my Commando.

I'll ride it to BikeNite or Moto Provisions events.

Nice i'll have to try and make it to those now. Only been hitting the Moto Provisions on Sundays a few times of late, got a new (71') Commando myself recently so hope to start bringing out for meetups.
