Anyone here at Poole Bike Night tonight on their Dommie?

I saw and heard one arriving, sounds fabulous !!
 
Poole Bike Night again tonight. Our Dominator was there again. Got pics this time.

It had neat looking baffles in the megas.

Is it one of ours?

He's one of my customers. Really nice bloke, a bit younger than me...which is nice to see in the 961 world, but doesn't use social media or forums. It's parked in front of #49, both great bikes.

Stu, do you know what baffles are fitted to #31?

If so you should copy and sell ’em.

I personally think open megas sound horrid, but #31 sounded fabulous. Loud enough to be loud, nice and deep, but not ear splittingly painful.
 
No, they were already in there when he bought it. Ive got baffles in mine, that I could have copied. Sound a little louder than that SS though. They always ride nicer with baffles in.

Any pics of your baffles? Is it an actual baffle or a end cap?
 
Dont think Ive got any pics. Mine were a set made to stop Daniel Craigs camera crew from moaning that the bikes being tested for the latest Bond film (did anyone spot the cameo roles?) were far too loud.
I need to remove them soon, as I want to modify the ends of the megas, so they're level with each other, and to repair a fracture....so I'll take some pics then. And yes, they're baffles....they have a perforated tube that I wrapped in baffle packing.
 
Actually, I just realised....I was thinking of the owner of #49, he's the younger fella who doesn't used social media. #31 is another bike, obviously still one of my customers, another nice bloke.....tbh all my customers have been awesome....I think he does use FB though.

Wow, we now refer to individuals by their Dominator series number.

Lol its the easiest way for me....I spend more time with the bikes than the owners. Its quite common to never meet the owners too...the bikes just get delivered and collected by courier.
