The isolastic rubbers on my 1968 Fastback were clearly past their prime. The large cross bolt on the front mount was about 3/16 of an inch above the center of the front mounting tube. A whole lot of engine sagging was going on here. I rebuilt the front isolastics with all new rubber bits, and adjusted it with the Mick Hemmings vernier modification. I considered doing the rears, but ran out of time. (Lumby is looming close.) And I didn't touch the original head steady either. Rode the bike last night, seems better, but still getting some pretty heavy vibration at some revs. Today I looked at the front isolastics, and that same bolt is about 3/16 of an inch above the center of the front mount again. The new rubber has sagged to where it was to begin with. Yeah, I know, I should do the rears, and the headsteady. But would it really make that much difference in terms of sag at the front end?

Take a good look at your head steady rubbers, they likely need replacement.
When the head is not supported by good rubbers, downward pressure is put on the front iso more than the rear.

Do your isos hang low
Do they wobble to and fro
Can you tie 'em in a knot
Can you tie 'em in a bow
Can you throw 'em over your shoulder
Like a Continental soldier
Do your isos hang low?
