So I've decided to give this a go, I want to keep the system as simple as possible and potentially add additional fuses in a block formation. The image below is reposted from another forum member's custom harness. I think I'll use it as a starting point but am curious what advice others have:

Chassis grounding is always a weak link.

I always put in additional dedicated ground wires wherever possible and don't rely on the chassis.

I used 2 chassis ground points. One on the coil bracket wing on the frame and the second at the rear of the bike on the large cross member.

So many people complicate the crap out of these things, it is so refreshing to see some realistic perspectives. Nice Job!
I hate to say but I think the alternator and stator/rotor are one in the same and the ignition pick up is marked as the stator.
Basically, that is the diagram of my system other than a few name brand items, the turn flashers and the lights on the headlamp shell.
Also, I too have multiple grounds. Motor, lamp shell, near the battery on the main frame and taillight.

Where was that drawing when I needed it? :D

It should probably be called the "Boyer stator".

But everything else is pretty good.
