Dirty Tank

Yes and no. The roadster tank came away fine. The Interstate had a small blem that I was able to flood with paint and then put a new logo on to cover it. If I were to do it over I would've wrapped the tanks in layers of "delicate" Scotch blue tape. I'm not losing sleep over it as I was expecting much more $$ to get these things straightend out. Anyway.....they do have two means of doing this. One is where they heat their product and this one will/may damage paint. The other is dry, where they have a room that's drawing air all the time. I went with the dry, not wanting to get into the paint thing. Should add they were bummed about the blem, but it's not like I picked them up and they'd been manhandled on some bench and scratched up.

I wonder if it could seal a fiberglass tank too.

The guy I spoke said they won't do them. I didn't get into specifics but it sounded like they'd tried it and weren't crazy about the results. Something about how it bonds?? Check for yourself is all I can say.
