The spring pull thingy switch is called a universal brake switch and about all vendors sell them except maybe RGM and CNW. There are several version all about same thing though

Micro switches with all types of lever and button mechanics. My ride buddy Wes rigged up clothes pin clamp front brake switch so food for thought.
