I am getting my tin ware painted next week, and the painters stencils for "Commando 850 electric start" on the side panel appear to have a different perspective to what I would consider to be typically standard.

They appear to be nearly the correct length, but about 25% shorter in height than the ones they are replacing. Just out of curiosity, does anybody have an original side panel with the "Norton Commando 850 electric start" decal on, and if so could you measure the following for me please?

The top edge of the "C" to the underline below "electric start"
The height of the "C" on it's own, and
The total length of the bottom of the "C" i.e. the lenght of the transfer.

Inches or mm welcome
Thanks.

I don't have those dimensions, but here is a '75 brochure. You should be able to scale from the various side covers shown:

Here's a pic of one of those still-in-the-crate Nortons in Belgium:
Decal measurements

Measured my decals on the original side panel: Elec start letters 1/4"/ big "C" 1 1/4" high including the bottom line/ Small letters in commando 7/16/ 850 lettering 7/16.

Hope this helps

I have the artwork for those Decals in my computer, including the Norton logo, I can make any size or color, or a stencil version for spraying under clear coats etc...

Thanks for the replies.
powerdoc, thanks for the measurements, they have confirmed what I'd estimated.
