I am in the twilight zone nearly two days talking about a clutch center the size of a plate they have got to be taking the Mickey , Colin and me did a tractor clutch for GKN in the Zeneca plant in 45 mins to get back for a cup tie the tractor was four ton and a 15 inch plate. Split it in half change clutch stick it back together and 90 mins home. Roll on 500.

Well
Started getting the items ready for fixing the fins,bits of hardwood and gas.have got access to oxyacetylene
So that should give enough heat to straighten it up. Probably end up breaking it off but maybe not, will see tomorrow .
Will make a spares list over weekend ,don't know what I've done with my parts book ,pain in the neck.
I recon 1250 should cover it unless I go mad with the barrels .what with the engine work it will go oner 2k
Think I will phone NW to see about cradle mod either that or get Davy millar to do it of diagrams.
Don't know what happened with phill and Pete ,but they got chucked of a thread.its the internet what do you expect ,the amount of bickering that goes on is just daft.need to get Tsix ready for mot in the next two weeks.

When I think of all the stuff that I have ballsed up , god it took me three weeks to find out I had the wrong handlebar control on the throttle side of the hopper. I just could work out the diagram and had nothing to compare it. I eventually pinched it off the combat and all was crystal.
I see in nacelle that they had a mark 1 speed triple reunion at hinkley. I loved that big yellow 900 must see if I can find a photo. I did thousands of miles throughout Europe on that bike, and only dropped her once.

That 69 is hellish when the roads are really wet,back wheel spins on acceleration out of corners, it's twitchy when you put her over. It has got to be those old tyres not taking heat properly or over inflated got to get an accurate gauge . My body is done in with the wet ,it was fun out in the heavy rain but my mind can't take that level of concentration now. You would need about 3,4 maybe 5 thousand miles.To get at least proficient in the real wet. Just plodding about in the rain would not do it .
Glad to see steveA got his valve seal problem sorted out.

Posted my fin repair bit on the big forum. I have a good idea how to tackle it, not sure if I have enough heat though spoke to a couple of guys that know what they are doing so I know what to watch for.
The head guy phoned me today so it will be going away next week for refurb, and I want it done properly or I will really look like a divot.

Bike going well on my runs today , but heard a we rattle pulled off the road into a housing scheme to check, only side panel grommet out . and would you believe it three we boys at the side of the road , so I leaned over when I passed them with my left hand out as if to slap their hands on the way past just like the do when you arrive in town at the Grand Prix .
Bloody hell all our yesterday's , going into Jerez to see the man.
No wonder your happy mick.
You're not so happy in this photo though.
I was at that race ,no where near the finish line though when criville beat him.
That Brno was dog rough mental we had booked into a great hotel bobys . A lot of the race guys were staying there we had top marks with some of the Japanese Honda guys they couldn't believe we had ridden there mind you I don't think they knew where scotland was . We did get chucked out the next day cos big del was sleeping in the lobby area and he spat the dummy about what was going on in the hotel. And I am saying nothing!
