Has anyone tried fitting a Dart flyscreen on a Commando?
I'm thinking about trying one.
The one on the retro bonnie looks like it might fit with a small amount of moding

I have a Dart flyscrenn on my 2013 Thruxton and it will fit my Norton as its the same size across the ears but I have non stock ears on my Norton.

If you'll excuse the pun, in what way are your ears non stock. Does it look likely to fit stock ears.
I was wondering if it would clear the clocks ok

Pretty sure you will be able to find a fly screen to fit ..... I have a small fly screen on the Griso and it truly is amazing how much air it deflects .... not as good , obviously as the fully faired Ducati but still allows me to ride much longer with less fatigue .... It should be no problem to find one , plus in some cases it can improve/define the looks of your bike ....

+1 for the little Dart

I have one on my 2012 Triumph Bonneville T100, perfect for around town and short country trips, looks sharp

The brackets fit on the head light bolts so yes will clear the clocks I am sure.

Thanks guys. I'll probably get one this year. Just want to make things a little more comfortable at higher speeds.
And as you said, i don't think it'll look too sad.

I bought a new Bonnie dart fly screen with the same intent to fit to my Commando. If you have standard "ears" the screen brackets will foul the clocks and the screen will be forward of the head lamp by too much. The stock distance from the centre of the headlamp bracket bolts to the centre of the fork line is @3" , it needs to be about 4@1/2 " to clear everything properly .in the end I fitted the dart to my T140 that has them cast alloy h/lamp brackets that are sold everywhere . Obviously you can remake the dart brackets to fit a Commando, it is just a bit more complicated than it would first appear, still, I'm gonna get another and sort it out for the Norton.

Thanks Sam. I had a sneaking suspicion that that might be the case.
Cheers
