Has anyone used or could recommend a Cyclecraft primary triple chain to use on a Commando, thanks, David

Why don't you just buy a duplex chain from the chain man and have a better quality chain than the triplex crap chains that are on the market now and be done with it, and with postage it will be cheaper, I know Andy was great to deal with and the new chain man be as good.
The triplex chains now are not as good as the orginal chains and they have problems with the rollers falling apart my next primary chain will be replace with the duplex chain.

All Iwis chains are not created equal, go with the Merc Timing chain based duplex from 'Andy' the Chainman. And while you are at it the same chain in simplex form for your cam chain.

Well Andy has retired but he put someone in charge who will do what Andy has done good custom service as I haven't dealt with the new chainman yet.

Sorry Guys, you've got me confused, What is the address or link to Jason the Chain Man?

+1
Just received an order from Jason. Extremely helpful and polite. I would have no problem recommending him or ordering again.

Pricing and shipping to Aus is very good, but if you want prices then go to the chainman himself instead of asking here, but if you want quility then he is the way to go.

Hello,
I would also like to use a duplex- chain. The problem is that I have a complete MKIII primary drive with its very well designed hydraulic tensioner. If I use a duplex- chain it will run excentical to the sliders which will eventually end up in problems. So, with the MK III, I think it's better to keep the triplex- chain.
Best Regards
Klaus

I believe Andy stated on this forum, shortly before his retirement, that his son Jason was taking over the business.

I need a new primary chain and want to get a duplex. Do I need to know a particular one to order or does The Chain Man know what I need for 850 Commando?
