I'd like to chase the threads on my left side crank end and was curious if anyone knows the pitch and diameter of this from experience? I'm feeling a bit of resistance when I begin threading by hand (new rotor nut on it's way too). All of my dies/pitch gauges are metric at the moment.

Thanks for the information, guys. I'll see about finding a die or a file. Though on my first search, it seems to be a fairly uncommon size in the States.

Unless its been hit or damaged then working the nut with some valve grinding paste often does the trick.

Thanks, Slick. Maybe it's my browser, but no products are available on their website for any selection.

I think you have to create an account first. Cost nothing to do so, and you will probably find need to order something again. I have found the site to be handy.

Thanks for the replies. I gotta say that the valve grinding compound did the trick. Great idea, johnm. I'm keeping that one.
