Conrods oilway holes

Hi.
The connecting rods dont have the oilway holes.
I have bought the new conrod shells and they have the oilway holes.
Is better to machine the oil way to the conrods?
What is the measure of the hole?

New ones? If so, send them back, they're not correct.

Those holes match the ones in the crank and are there to lubricate the repective bearing.

Are we talking about the squirt Holes?

if so, most opinions say it does not matter whether the holes are open or covered.

There was a thread on the value of the squirt holes recently on the Forum.
