What is the reason for different connector types on the Norton.

There are Spade and bullet connectors...and maybe more!

Is there a reason for using bullet over spade. When looking at the rats nest wiring in the headlight shell and under the tank I wonder that these things ever go.

I solder as many connections as I can and avoid using any kind of connector.

Bullet connectors are used when joining wire to wire, I should avoid the crimped type, just use soldered type, Spade connectors connect on to components like the ignition coil, again run solder down them rather than rely on crimping
