Bill are you being deliberately obtuse? please go back & read the post quoting the current issue of Cycle World where they moot the return to motorcycling of 2Ts, using the proven technology from snow/water craft which never stopped using them...

Whaaa...? is that another example of expropriated ex-Nazi technology too?
Was Dr Bauer a former Nazi?, Like Von Braun?

Bill , does the 4T make 120hp from 600cc?, is it lighter? More compact? More fun? No, didn`t think so...

Hell yes a Jet ride when let go in the wild wide opens !! Damn the noise and fuel mileage.

Where`s my jet-pack!, Hobot what are you really planning to use that hydrogen peroxide for...not going blond for fun purposes I take it...

still not impressed with you ring ding as here is a 600 4T with 123 HP all but a little heaver it is still a cleaner engine and is STREET LEGAL for US emissions not some OFF ROAD application with looser restrictions

Cycle World Sept `12 P.53;
"Rotax, which makes the 800cc & 900cc twins for BMW & Husqvarna, has also been developing low-emissions 2Ts for its parent company`s Ski-Doo snowmobiles, & its 600cc E-Tec [120hp] DFI 2T is in production."

Bill, dont be afraid to admit it, you are now reduced to grasping at straws, CHECK the Euro 3 & CARB [Californian] emissions compliance that BRP 2T E-Tec mills meet now!
Is the logic beyond you or is it your prejudice that is blinding you to the facts?

why bother with this, when you can buy this right off the dealers floor with 1000 CC and 183 HP along with being road legal for US emissions.

I am NOT impressed with the TBO time either, IF you figure Hr. to miles at a 55 MPH average (being optimistic)that is only 55,000 miles life span.

Bill, this might make a good project bike mill, a smooth firing triple : an easy 100hp/6000rpm from 940cc/45kg, crankshaft is guaranteed for 3 years, T.B.O. =1000hrs @ 75% power.

not grasping at straws as YOU have yet to show me ANY ring ding that is road legal key wording in the 50 US states. as a side note it is also on the BRP site that the ONLY engine that is allowed in Yellowstone park is NOT there ding pop but there 4T as the emission Nazi's keep getting there way.

55mph at 75hp, Bill, your sums are awry, does that mean your ~50 hp Commando can only go 35mph? Did the Combat have a 3 year crankshaft warranty? [sorry ,that was mean]
A 900 triple based on that 2T E-TEC mill would be a road bike with [emissions legal] 180hp, but weigh 140kg , not 200+kg..4T fours are too porky for bikes.

your trouble is it does not exist yet and probably because it will not meet 50 state compliance for a road vehicle.

Bill,- it would really gall you, huh?
From Sept `12 Cycle World, re the E-Tec 2Ts as road-legal bike mills...
"If the strong hints dropped by Husky prove true, it may not be long before something like that hits production".
Guess you`ll be lining up at the Husky dealership for a test ride, too eh, Bill?

maybe you need to look at the difference in emission compliance for ON ROAD and OFF ROAD as even California is a little more lax for off road.
