Colorado Norton Works

I too am having problems with cNw. I bought and paid for numerous parts that were in stock per their website back in March. Some were shipped, Matt told me others were being shipped immenently which still have not shipped. I have a whole wish list of cNw parts to buy as soon as they’re in stock but I’ve now lost confidence in them as a functional business and have requested a refund. Stay tuned…
Having problems ??

He shipped what he had, and told you he’ll ship the rest when in stock. That is not ‘a problem’. That’s just honest service.

I think it best for you to get your refund. Matt is a top guy and sells unmatched gear of the highest quality. The last thing he needs in life is having to handle impatient drama queens…

The problem these days is that people seem to think that every company should perform like Amazon.

Well, Matt doesn’t have AI controlled, robot populated, vast warehouses. He’s a one man band, managing a complex supply chain (with some challenging raw material supply issues and closing down of long term suppliers and experienced machinists) to offer top class parts to enthusiasts.

And yes… sometimes that creates the ‘problem’ that some patience is required.

If you can’t handle that, then get your money back. But you might just want to see what the alternatives are before doing that…

Good to know, thanks…

Well said Nigel. 👍

You know, that mention of people expecting Amazon speeds is really "the" problem. I'm guilty of this too. Everywhere else I order stuff from takes "forever" compared what I've been conditioned to expect from Amazon. I have to try hard to not be so impatient, to be honest when working with others. Things (expectations) really have changed since Amazon.

I have to agree with the fellas here. You can't rush quality and this is what you get from Matt. I had a rather large project recently, and with all Matt has going on, he was responsive to my many emails and calls to him for assistance. Somehow, with all the customers he has, he seems to be able to remember you and what you bought, and NEVER fails to find time offer great advice and look after you.

Just recently, Wednesday last week, I ordered some fasteners for my new Ikon shocks I ordered, and emailed him to ask if he could ship them out the next day and with all he's got going on, he replied to my note quickly and sure enough I'll be receiving them tomorrow to finish my rear shocks install.

No complaints from this dram queen:)
Just grateful for having a Norton specialist chap like Matt around.
