If I can't remedy this head problem I have I was thinking about buying one of their heads. The sure look sweet.
Has anyone bought one?
I have 2 heads, one has a crack running from the left intake port horizontal to the center of the head and the other head has been machined surfaced 3 times.
$2295.00 is real pricey but I have been saving my change for 3 years to buy one. Literaly saving nickels, dimes and quarters. I'm up to $1843.00

I'd like some feedback on these heads.

Old Britts as a used one for $1500.

Cool!
I could buy the used one, have it surfaced, put in new guides, valves and springs.
Fix the exhaust ports and the loose rocker shaft bores
Hey, I just saved a $12 bucks!

I really want one of those new fancy heads from CNW.
Has no one bought one of those?

If I'm not mistaken, the CNW head comes with guides and seats only. The rest you still have to provide. Knowing CNW's penchant for quality, I'd say the $2,300 is money well spent.

As for the cost, this Norton ownership is but a hobby. I've never had a hobby that didn't cost money. I guess I'd much rather have a CNW head than $2,300 in the bank.

What? That is at least three times higher than what they usually go for in the bay.

Hi,

I've Full Auto Head from Mick Hemmings.
I'm very satisfied.I simply fitted my good old 850 valves, after grinding of course, and put the springs in the head and it runs vey well,Evenly I think the head gives more bottom power.
As I have said it looks original and runs very well ! :D

Well hello there. I've done about 15,000 miles on mine now and love it to death. Much stronger low end and mid range, no leaks, looks great. I am not biased at all. I am also Mr Fullauto Technologies. Jim Comstock on this forum designed the port profiles so he is the man to thank for the performance gains. The new batch will be finished this week and ready to ship to the world in the next two weeks or so.

Thank you for putting it all together and producing the heads.

I would be too scared to get one, then next thing you know you'd want maney barrels, lightweight pistons and rods, etc....haha

I just relized that Fullauto made those heads as I was doing a search.
CNW sells them but doesn't make them.
I am stuck because my spare RH4 head has a bad crack which I understand is common.
I just want something modern and from what the ad reads is stronger.
Both of my current heads have all new parts so buying a Fullauto/CNW head should be an easy swap.
Of course a proper grind and lap.

Now,,,what friend of mine can I ship this thing to who's wife won't tell my wife.
I really gotta get a Post Office Box.

I run a Fullauto head on my racer, straight off the shelf, same as you'd get. And I do all right.

You can buy a used one, and you can spend a lot of money trying to get it to compare. In the end, you will get a better flowing head with less fuss for less $$ by going with the Fullauto from CNW.

I agree. A divorce would be nice but would cost me more than a new head.
I'm gonna call tomorrow and see if they have a head. I'll probably just play with it for a week and admire it's beauty and graceful lines.
Man, I gotta get out more often!

Just tell her you need your "head" examined and the "shrink" wants $2500 for his "expertise" I'm sure if you have been married for a while she will beleive you do need to get your head examined

You're going to have to show some signs of improvement during your course of therapy. Like shopping and housework ect. At which point she'll say, "That was the best $2500 we ever spent." Then you add up the cost of lightweight pistons, rods, cam, and carbs; tell her, "My shrinks says I'm on the verge of a breakthrough..."

LOL
You guy's have been thru this before I see.
I knew I could some sound advice on this forum but never thought it would be so versatile.

"My shrinks says I'm on the verge of a breakthrough..." priceless
