I recently finished putting my 750 together and I was not sure which peashooters to use. On my 850 I have old stock Toga's that I love (you cannot get these any more). I used to love the old geometrics when they were about. I ordered some emgo before and they were very poorly made (one had welding issues inside and they sounded terrible). I had called Matt (cNw) about something else and we were discussing this. He said they made their own stainless exhausts, but out of stock for a few months. He told me that he had the original prototype and I was more than welcome to borrow them to see if I like them. Matt shipped them to me to try out for the summer (he even paid for shipping). I really like the exhausts and will be buying some later when he has them in stock. He did not ask me to do this video or promote them, but here it is. Its hard to see how they sound if you are not riding, but you can get an idea:

I don't care for the color of stainless on the exhaust system as the fenders and other bright parts on pre '73 Commandos are all chrome. Doesn't match well. Did you check with Phil Raderford to see if he still has some Toga systems. That's what is on my '72. We can compare exhaust note next week if you bring your '71 to the rally.
Look for the bike in my avatar.

Hi David,

I think the old Toga's are different, but not sure. Look forward to meeting you at the rally..

So who makes the commando specialties pea shooters? are those Emgo

Im running a 850 with no crossover and AN peashooters, those of the little scallops.
They look fine but are loud when you run it up hard. Good around town because it ensures
you use a light throttle so as not to draw attention but when you pour on the coal to pass someone out on
the two lane blacktop, they had better have the drivers window rolled up or they will
get a broken eardrum.
I wear earplugs when I ride.

I run the A/N pea shooters on my 74. Yeah, they are quite loud when you get on the throttle.
And..........? :|

Whatever these are, they sound like a velvet buzzsaw.

I can guarantee these have fluted baffles. Therefore they will be made in Birmingham by Brituro. I think they make for Andover Norton as well. I have them on my 920 & there is no comparison to the perforated baffle type.

I have the CNW stainless pea shooters on my 74 Interstate, and they sound marvelous. Great fit and finish

Sounds like coming home and hearing your wife/girlfriend in bed with her best female friend and both of them climaxing at the same time, that's how good they sound.
