Hi Folks,

Just wanted to share some pictures of a new-to-me 1975 Colorado Norton Works Commando. I have wanted one for a long time, but I just couldn't come up with the money necessary. Certainly know it's worth every dime, but couldn't get to the total amount. Anyhow, I found build #72 on Matt's website. He also handles reselling of used CNW Commandos. The only thing I had Matt do was paint the bike orange and add the CNW Brembo rear master cylinder with a remote reservoir.

You are welcome. I am the one who should Thank You for all the support over the years.

I am really glad the timing was right for you to get this machine. It was nice before we repainted it in this awesome Orange paint. Now it's just drop dead gorgeous. The pictures don't do the color any justice as it just pops, especially in the sun.

Sorry I could'nt get any better pics before it left. We are in the middle of a winter storm and it was tough just to get it out of the shop.

Looking forward to your feedback once you get it

Looks good, how's the weather? Jim

Not good enough to ride this bike! We are supposed to get another 8 inches, or so, overnight.

Can't wait for warmer weather!

Here are some pictures showing the paint in the sunlight. These are not from my bike, but it is the same paint.

Yes, I am a very lucky man, and grateful! I am going to have to sell my 1975 850 and probably the 1972 750 to help fund my CNW purchase, but you won't hear any complaining from me!

I have my two dream bikes:

Colorado Norton Works/Matt Rambow 1975 Norton

Don Hutchinson full restoration 1969 Triumph Bonneville T120R

What a beauty. It is hard to beat the perfection matt puts out. I have been riding CNW build 99 for almost 2 years and it has been a great bike to have. Great to ride and always gets compliments

Noticed your signature, we seem to have similar stables

I duuno about that bike...I think you need to bring it down to the shop for the summer so that I can do a full evaluation of CNW's work! :D

I'm another person who would love to have a CNW Commando but could never afford one. A very early CNW bike is here in San Miguel de Allende. I think it's one of the first few made and I seem to recall that the owner told me it was CNW 1 but I may be mis-remembering that. It's a yellow fastback. The owner owns another Commando (and 11 other bikes), and with mine, we believe we own the only Commandos in Central Mexico, including Mexico City. But with 24 million inhabitants there, there COULD be a Commando we don't know about! :)

Well, if you can make to the Rally in Asheville, NC this summer, you will be able to see her!

Hi Squarehead, I live in Durham. Could you please provide details about the rally in Asheville that you mentioned.
Thanks,
Ron
