Nice!

Looks like a raised floor, wider around the guide with the floor closing up to the roof a bit and a dimple to accommodate the valve spring pocket. Is that correct or am I seeing what I want to see?

It’s a beautiful port, but not being at all familiar with the details of the Fullauto head, is the porting new or the same machining that has always been used to finish the heads? If it is new machining, are there any airflow numbers comparing the std head to this head? What is the x-sectional area of the port in the smallest section?

Sorry, not good quality pics but they were what was sent to me. The porting should be the same as before, just neater. The shape should be the same. Have you seen one of my heads in the flesh?

Old heads were as cast ports. This new batch the inlet ports are CNC machined. Flow numbers? Haven't got my hands on one yet, I won't have them for at least two weeks. Ask Jim Comstock when he gets one. He's getting a couple out of this batch and I'm sure he'll run the numbers.

Very nice Ken, very nice. :)
A buddy of mine in Canada, Mike Sorenson (Sorenson Performance) CNC's Shovelhead heads from billet, cylinders also, High performance stuff. I got a set on the 106" Shovelhead engine thats going into the Bobber I'm putting together. Dyno at 129 RWHP and 119 torque.
Just cant beat a well programmed CNC. :D

Very nice! This looks pretty complicated do to aspect ratio (tool length and deflection) and the machine cut in the flow direction which is much more difficult compared to around the surface which would be the normal way to program the cut but bad for flow. You guys are amazing!

I've not seen one in the flesh but should have one in waiting with Jim Comstock for a special project.

Really nice work and the effort and diligence is very much appreciated.

Just buy one and abuse it - I did, and wish I done it ages ago. I did not even bother polishing the ports either, so with these the CNC is an improvement on a very good head.

Your sheque's in the mail!

I wish to become famous for my good head(s).

Very nice indeed.
I have cylinder head envy now.
This thread should be right next to the Crank Porn thread.
Maybe change the name to "Great Head".

So, are these new cast heads or old ones remanufactured. Either way, what is the name of the company that produces these? Thanks.

Hi Milo, they are brand new heads. Made in Australia. My company is Fullauto Technologies. They can be bought from various places in the US. Colorado Norton Works is my distributor in the US along with British Cycle Supply in New Jersey. Jim Comstock in Colorado and Kenny Cummings in New York also retail them.
