I've had a new hardened clutch center installed on my bike. I really believe I've just replaced the old one and put everything back together the same way it was, but now the clutch has become really hard to pull and gears won't engage... All the rest seems to be fine. I was thinking of taking the bike to a bussiness trip next monday but I think I'm using the car...

Any ideas?

Thanks for your help. :)

79x100,
I see you got that one in before me!

It would seem that obsessive personalities often think alike

I'm sorry I didn't take a look at other threads before, but just came to the computer with all this mess in my head after 4 hours dismantling the primary and clutch...

Let me check tomorrow if the withdrawal keeps in it's place.

Thanks a lot!

I shouldn't worry about not finding the earlier thread. I was pretty sure that I'd posted on it but it still took me several goes to find.

If you haven't lifted the arm into position and during the work the pushrod moved down the mainshaft then it has almost certainly slipped out of place.

Probably the easiest and cheapest fix known and if you've fixed it once, you'll recognise it immediately in the future :)
