clutch operating lever lockring

Is this lockring regular or reverse thread?I cannot find this answer in any of the manuals that I have.I do not know how
to decifer left or right hand thread.

It's normal (right hand) thread.

If you don't have the proper tool(likely) just tap it anticlockwise with a flat punch and hammer - gently. Mine was only finger tight anyway so didn't need any help.

Mine walked out during a ride just recently, cleaned it up and loctited it in with a flat BRASS punch until very tight.Right hand (normal) If it walks all the way out you can still get home with clutchless changes, it can't out fall anywhere ,have to miss the stop lights ot time it just so!!!
