I have been doing an inet search for a friend and need to find a Norton hardened clutch centre without the splines (we need to machine a taper to suit a Triumph ) so in essence, a blank on the inside and hardened and clutch plate spline son the outside.
Any ideas ?

Alternatively, Triumph main shafts made with a Norton spline were available from Nourish and Tony Hayward. The Triumph taper is fine for a stock motor IF the tapers are a correct fit. But they are a weak point in hot motors.

Not sure of the cost as yet , not a lot
