Hi all, with the clutch centre bearing 6007 i see that AN are selling a completely un-sealed or shielded bearing whilst RGM are selling a rubber sealed bearing.
What is the consensus of opinion sealed or unsealed??

A sealed bearing is generally for a dry belt primary drive.

I,ve just bought a FAG 6007 2RS bearing for a duplex setup £7.50 at Marksman Bearings up the road from me, the one in the triplex primary on my bike coming up to 20,000 miles and still with very little free play.
Primary oil is changed every year and always dirty looking but doesn,t smell like engine oil leakage, maybe contaminated with moisture, clutch wear debris and a sealed bearing is a great upgrade.

Sealed bearing will last the design life of the bearing
So I'd go for the sealed type over the sheilded type personally
