Clamp or ? on timed breather hose N15

Hi
Was there a clamp on the timed breather hose at the crankcase fitting?
The parts book does not call one out for the N15 or the Atlas, but first year commandos have a ferrule listed.
Anyone know what is proper?

IIRC, the tube was a simple slip fit over the elbow at the timed breather port. I do not recall if the other end of the tube had a clamp at the oil tank, but I always used one there.
