has anyone tried the chinese mikunis or keihins? I have never looked at one... i am skeptical but I would like to buy a pair of 24mm keihin PE carbs to experiment with.
 
Not tried a Chinese carb on a Brit bike but have tried 2 Keihin clones on KLF300's, first one was 7 years ago and the rubber was badly afffected by ethanol, a later one from 18 months ago was fine.
 
Great value however, the jets and needles can be difficult to get and usually aren't interchangable with mikunis or keihins.

Personally, given the complexity of a carb and the delicacy of is control etc. If given a choice, I would not opt for a Chinese instrument.
