My daughter surprised me yesterday with a Tee Shirt with a 1970 Norton Commando Roadster on it.
She got it at Target!! Didn't know Commandos were cool enough for mass marketing.

First one I think i've seen without the normal Norton script, just block letters.
 
Happen to be going by Target today and they had some on sale for $9.00 US. The bike & graphics should of been silver and Norton scripted so it would stand out. There is a Norton script tag on the back inside inked on. Has registered trademark "2011 Norton Motorcycles (UK) Ltd." Made in India 50% cotton & 50% Polyester. I bought one also for the collection.
 
I received one of those as a birthday gift from my nephew... He got it at Target as well. I'm concerned that he is so "into" motorcycles because I'll certainly get the blame if he buys one at age 17 like his is claiming he will. Sigh.

Anyway, the label inside the shirt has the "new" old style Norton script logo that the UK company adopted some time back (the one without the extra flag on the "t"). Still thought it was odd that they were selling them at Target.
 
Just went to Target and got mine. On sale this week and with the Target card $9.06.
 
wow, maybe norton can sue target and get out of their financial trouble :lol: snap em up fast haha

Some of you may wonder why Norton would license these to Target. Even if they got a modest royalty for this shirt, retailers like Target move a shitload of product.

A long time ago I was working on a project to sell t-shirts to K-Mart. Stores like that can commit to tens of thousands of unit per design. Target has about 1,750 locations so you can see how the numbers start getting exponential.

Not going to make up any budget shortfalls but won't hurt either.

It's gotta be 100% cotton. 50/50 is too uncomfortable.
Too bad. Just because it say's Norton doesn't make it cool, it's gotta look cool too. Just my 2 cents.

Just because it say's Norton makes it cool. Just MY 2 cents.
Got 2 on clearance yesterday 6.99. VERY F-ING COOL.
If i have to, I'll put bandades on my nips for protection.
 
now if we can just get a leather jacket w/ fringes w/ a norton logo, then some bandana's w/ a norton logo, maybe scarf's too, and have cigarette lighters or cellphone covers w/ norton logo's we'd be cool!
