cheap rare commander

This particular Commander was purchased from the auction sale at Norton Motors' Shenstone factory when it closed down in the mid-1990s. It was one of the Norton factory's test machines, and the vendor was informed that it had had a new engine fitted shortly before the sale. The machine is offered with a V5 registration document.
 
It doesn't actually say that it runs.
Or has been run recently ?

I can recall lining up a test ride of something not quite as fancy as that one - and it wouldn't start !
(it is a 2 stroke, sort of).
No spare plugs were available (at a mere £25 each), so it was nix to the test ride...

It does seem cheap, be interesting to watch the final result.
 
If you look at their catalogues the estimates are always way too low, I think to try to encourage more attendees, the actual prices end up two to three times above low estimate.
